Privacy Policy — Kaison B2B Order Import
This policy explains what the Kaison B2B Order Import Shopify app ("the App") collects, why, and how long it is kept. It applies to merchants who install the App. The App is used only inside the merchant's Shopify admin; buyers never interact with it directly.

1. Order text and files
When you paste an order or upload a file (CSV, TXT, Excel or OpenDocument), the App reads it in memory to build the preview and then discards it. Order text and files are never written to our database, file system or logs. The preview lives in your browser until you leave the page.

3. Shopify data the App reads but does not store
- Prices, catalogs, quantity rules and inventory for the products in an order, read when you build the preview and again when you create the draft order.
- Companies and company locations (Shopify B2B): names, payment terms and the IDs of company contacts who have an ordering role at the location. A contact ID is used only to attach the draft order to the company and is not stored.
- Draft orders the App creates in your store. The draft order itself lives in your Shopify store and is governed by your own privacy policy.
The App does not read or store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or addresses.
4. Where data is stored and who can see it
Data is stored on servers operated by Vultr in the United States, accessible only to Kaison Global FZE. Shopify receives the data needed to create draft orders. We do not sell data, run advertising, or share data with any other third party, and we do not use third-party analytics in the App.
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Store access tokens, and the company names, PO numbers and totals in import records and company memory, are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) with a key kept outside the database; backups are encrypted and kept for 14 days. 5. Deletion and your rights
- Uninstalling the App revokes our access token immediately; all remaining store data is deleted 48 hours later when Shopify sends the
shop/redactrequest. - We honour Shopify's
customers/data_requestandcustomers/redactrequests. Because the App stores no customer personal data, there is nothing to export or erase; each request is logged and we confirm this to the merchant on request within 30 days. - Merchants can email support@kaisonapps.com to access, correct or delete their data at any time.
6. Billing
Paid plans are billed by Shopify through your Shopify invoice (Shopify App Pricing). We never see or store payment details. Uninstalling the App cancels the subscription.
